Man gunned down outside Queens theater

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A man involved in a crash was shot and killed outside the Whitestone Theater in Queens after a group of men wearing masks got out of the other vehicle and opened fire.

The 25-year-old driver and his girlfriend were in the area of 28th Avenue and Linden Place at about 3:30 a.m., when one vehicle rear-ended the other.

The victim got out of the car as four men wearing masks got out of the other.

The driver was shot in the chest. The masked men got in the victim's car with the woman inside and took off. 

Both vehicles were found at 120th Street and 26th Avenue in nearby College Point.

Two guns were recovered.

The girlfriend of the victim was not seriously injured.

Police are looking for the suspects.
