Man groped woman as she called police

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A woman who refused the advances of a man inside a deli in Brooklyn was groped by the man even as she called police from her cell phone.

Video of the assault inside the DeKalb Ave. Deli on Mar. 16  was released by the NYPD.

The man is seen approaching the 29-year-old woman. Cops said he tried to engage her in conversation but she ignored him. At that point he touches her backside. As the woman takes her cell phone out, the man touches her again. He then leaves the deli and returns and slaps her backside.

The suspect fled on foot southbound along Ashland Place at about 12:30 a.m.

He is described as black, 30 to 35 years old, 6'1", 160-170lbs. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
