Man busted for repeatedly masturbating on subway trains

A Bronx man has been arrested on public lewdness charges for allegedly repeatedly masturbating in front of women on subway trains.

Police arrested Roberto Remedios, 62, of Hoe Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

He had been sought for a series of incidents on subway trains.  In the first case, from April, Remedios is accused of sitting across from a 24-year-old woman on a northbound R train.  Police say he stared at the woman and proceeded to masturbate.

In May, on a northbound R train in Manhattan, the man is accused of masturbating in front of a 26-year-old woman.

Later in the month on a Manhattan-bound A train Remedios is accused of masturbating in front of a 19-year-old woman.

No women reported injuries in the incidents.

Police didn't release details of Remedios' arrest.  It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
