Man brutally beaten with a bat in the Bronx

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A 56-year-old man was severely beaten with a bat in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx.

The victim was near 181st St. and Grand Concourse early Sunday morning when he was approached by three men.

One of the men hit the victim several times with a bat.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the violent incident on Tuesday.

The men all appeared to be wearing the same uniform.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, according to police.
