Make-a-Wish 10-year-old boy receives his dream "Batboat"
ATLANTA, Ga. - When you love Batman and finally get your wish to have a pontoon boat, you naturally name it "Batboat."
Daniel is a 10-year old boy who had brain cancer and his one wish was to have a boat to take his family out on. He was offered a wave runner and his reply was that his whole family can't all come at once.
Daniel was diagnosed with a brain tumor in August 2014. When it was time to decide on his wish, he immediately said he wished for a boat to go tubing with his mom and dad and his 3 older brothers. Family friends used to have a boat, but they sold it and Daniel has been sad about not being able to go out on the lake for the past few years. "Mom, can I wish for a boat to go tubing in? A trip will only last for a week but a boat will last for a long time," said Daniel.
Daniel was the first child in Georgia to wish for a boat. Daniel's wish came true thanks to Park Marine Boating Centers in Kennesaw. Daniel arrived and he was so surprised with his new custom BATBOAT from Park Marine and Make-A-Wish Georgia! The boat is a 2016 Suntracker Party Barge DLX that seats nine people.
Daniel won't be missing out on lake time this year!
