A stolen statue of Jesus holding a heart was found in a trash can in Brooklyn, according to Diocese officials.

Surveillance video from Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church on South 3rd St. in Williamsburg showed two women and one man laughing as they took the statue on Apr. 30.

Police released the security camera footage in the hope someone would recognize the suspects and contact them.

On Thursday, a family discovered the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue and contacted church officials.

No arrests have been made, reported the Associated Press.

The statue was damaged and is being restored at D'Ambrosio Ecclesiastical Art Studios in Mount Kisco.
