Jenner takes Trump up on bathroom offer

Transgender reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner has weighed in on the growing controversy over which public restroom transgender men or women should use.

The issue is a political one, too, with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump supporting transgender people while rival Sen. Ted Cruz outraged by it.

On Thursday, Jenner (who was once known as Bruce Jenner and was a former Olympic gold medalist), shared video of himself entering Trump International Hotel and Tower in Manhattan where he used the women's bathroom.

Jenner has publicly acknowledged that he has not undergone sex reassignment surgery but lives his life as a woman.

"Oh my God, a transgender woman in New York. I got to take a pee. Last week, Donald Trumps said I could take a pee anywhere in a Trump facility. Anyway, I am going to take a pee in the ladies room," said Jenner.

Once he emerged, he thanked Trump and had a message for Cruz, "Thank you, Donald, I really appreciate it. And, by the way, Ted, nobody got molested."
