Jamie Lee Curtis recreates mom's ‘Psycho' shower scene

Jamie Lee Curtis has recreated a famous movie moment featuring her mom, Janet Leigh.

Curtis posted the shot on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

The star of the upcoming Scream Queens on Fox says she recrated a "shot by shot of my mother's famous shower scene from Hitchcock's PSYCHO" for an upcoming episode of the anticipated series.

She went on to say:  "Ryan Murphy and co. wrote it into a special episode and it felt right! Honoring the Royal legend that is/was/will always be, Janet Leigh. Thought all fans of the genre would love it! #honorthymother"

The show debuts next week with a special 2 hour premiere.
