Go inside homes featured in Kips Bay Decorators showcase

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - For the 45th year, designers and architects from around the country have transformed a beautiful home for the annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House.

With room after room of inspiration, this home is open to the public, whether you're looking to redecorate your own home, or just want to enjoy the beautiful interiors. 

While a lot of the furniture and decorative furnishings may be expensive, according to the designers here, applying the concepts in your own home can be easy and affordable, from incorporating pops of color to installing inexpensive wall moldings.

With thousands of square feet, the show house is brimming with many more design ideas, and with the ticket proceeds benefiting children at the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club, its mission extends beyond the aesthetic.

The show house will be open at 125 East 65th Street from May 2nd through June 1st.  Tickets are $40.
