'Garden of Dreams' talent show
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - It's the opportunity of a lifetime: to perform on the Radio City stage!
It's also an opportunity few can even dream of. But tomorrow night, more than 100 kids from our area will get to do just that.
They will be part of the Garden of Dreams' annual talent show. They'll sing, play and dance before an audience of up to 6,000 people. The performers, who had to audition, have all faced challenges in their lives like illness and loss.
Among them are Samantha Haase, 15, from Waldwick, N.J., and Logan Riman, 14, of Brooklyn. Samantha, who sings, has leukemia and Logan, who plays the piano, was born blind.
The theme for this year's show is "Bridge to Your Dreams." The show is free, open to the public and starts at 7 p.m.
