Foul odor report leads to discovery of body in the Bronx

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A 911 call reporting a foul odor inside of an apartment building in the Bronx led to the discovery of a woman’s body.

Police responded to the call at an apartment building on University Avenue in Fordham Manor Friday evening, where they discovered the body of Cindi Olivo, 33.

Authorities say that Olivia had obvious signs of trauma to her body.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, the investigation is ongoing.
