Former Jets player opens hookah lounge in Harlem
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - After a decade of playing football in the NFL, former defensive end Stephen Bowen is living out a new dream. He and his wife Tiffany are the owners of Harlem Hookah.
Stephen, a former New York Jet, now works for NFL compliance, so Tiffany runs the daily operations. He says she is the mastermind behind the success.
Harlem Hookah prides itself on being different. Stephen says they are going upscale, chic, and classy.
And for the New York natives, bringing this venture to Harlem was just the "pineapple" on top.
Harlem Hookah officially opened its doors on October 1. Stephen says the business has been an instant success.
The lounge is located at 381 Lenox Avenue. It is open daily from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m.
