Florida Power & Light workers surprise woman for birthday in Puerto Rico
BAYAMON, Puerto Rico - When workers from Florida Power and Light from Miami who are working in Puerto Rico found out that an elderly resident was having a birthday, they decided to surprise her.
Just moments after they turned the lights back on in the woman's neighborhood, the lineworkers surprised her with a birthday cake and sang to her.
The woman was overcome with emotion as the moment was caught on video.
Workers have been working around the clock to help restore power to the island and said they have been overwhelmed by the warmth and support they've been given by the people of Puerto Rico.
More than 40 percent of the hurricane-ravaged country is still without power, four months after the hurricane hit.
