Fleet Week NYC 2017
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - More than 3,700 U.S. and Canadian service members are expected to take part in New York Fleet Week this year.
The public is invited to join the sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen in the 29th annual celebration of the maritime services.
The fun began Wednesday, May 24, at 8 a.m. with the parade of ships up the Hudson River. Several vessels from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Naval Academy, and Royal Canadian Navy will be docked and open for tours to the public beginning Thursday, May 25. [Click here for more information.]

USS Kearsarge from Norfolk, Virginia
Pier 92 Manhattan
USCGC Hamilton from Charleston, South Carolina
HMCS Glace Bay from Canadian Forces Base Halifax
Pier 86 Manhattan Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum (vessels will leave Saturday, May 27)
Four USNA yard patrol craft from Annapolis, Maryland
RV Neil Armstrong (oceanographic research ship) from Woods Hole, Massachusetts
Brooklyn Cruise Terminal
USS San Jacinto from Norfolk, Virginia
USS Monterey from Norfolk, Virginia
Homeport Pier Staten Island
USS Lassen from Mayport, Florida
USCGC Katherine Walker from Bayonne, New Jersey
