Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - No surprise, it takes a lot to keep New York City running smoothly and safely. It's not always perfect, but some hard working people are tirelessly trying to achieve that goal. The New York City Fire Department is a massive organization of more than 250 fire houses and more than 15,000 employees throughout the system. In 2015, the FDNY responded to more calls than ever before. Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro talks about the department.
