FDNY saves dangling workers from partially collapsed scaffolding

A dramatic rescue took place in Inwood on Saturday.

A scaffold partially collapsed, leaving four workers dangling from the building.

In a Facebook post by the FDNY, one worker was rescued with an aerial ladder while one was brought up to the roof using a rope. The other two were pulled into the building through windows.

Diamond Castellanos told Fox 5 the workers looked scared.

"The guy was hanging, saying can you please let me in?" he said.  

The FDNY says, in all, the rescue took about ten minutes.
