FDNY: 2 killed in 'cluttered' Queens home

Two people have been killed in a house fire in Queens.

The Fire Department of New York says the blaze started Sunday afternoon at a dwelling on Cornaga Street.

Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Ferrante says the home was "very cluttered."

He says that hampered the firefighting operation.

Ferrante says the two people were found in the kitchen on the first floor of the home.

The city's fire marshal is now investigating the cause of the blaze.
