Facebook Live's star-making power

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - For years YouTube and vine have minted stars who go on to fame and fortune, and now Facebook is fostering a new crop of talent with a brand new product called Facebook Live.

With the click of a button, Facebook users can now broadcast live video, opening up their daily activities to real time interaction with people around the world.

Mashable released a list of the 10 Facebook Live stars you need to follow now.

The stars include Jordan Roth, the producer behind hit Broadway shows like "The Book of Mormon" and "Kinky Boots," who uses Facebook Live to invite us into his world and tattoo artist Liz Cook who shares live videos of the tattoo process with her million-plus Facebook fans and beyond.
