Erika Wachter

Erika Wachter is a sports host and reporter for Fox 5 News.

She has worked with a variety of clients including CPTV Sports, COX Sports, NESN, Verizon FiOS1 Sports, Birdseye Sports, and MiLB's Connecticut Tigers.

Erika attributes her success to her education at the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.

She graduated Summa cum laude, with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a double minor in Marketing Management and Psychology.

Erika was also a Division 1 Varsity Field Hockey player at SU for her entire undergraduate career.

Her experience at the collegiate level gives her a competitive advantage in covering athletics today.
