Dog rescued from ledge of Hoboken building

Firefighters in New Jersey rescued a dog that strolled onto a third floor ledge to catch some rays from the sun.

Hoboken spokesman Juan Melli told NJ.com the dog, Skipper, broke through a screen on Tuesday morning, prompting firefighters to swing into action to get the dog down safely.

Officials say Skipper wasn't aggressive and no firefighters were injured in the rescue.

Photos from the scene show Skipper at the top of a ladder over Washington St. as a firefighter climbs up it to reach it.
