Dennis Rodman accused of theft at yoga studio
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Former NBA star Dennis Rodman denied accusations he and a group of friends stole items from a yoga clothing store in California.
According to TMZ, a woman is accused of stealing more than $500 in clothing from the VIBES Hot Yoga Studio in Newport Beach. A man that was also with Rodman is seen dropping, breaking and then taking a crystal art piece. It's valued at $2,500, according to TMZ.
"We walked in. I just stood there," said Rodman when TMZ caught up with him Thursday.
Rodman claimed they were gifted the items for helping move the art piece.
The store owners told TMZ they believed the group was intoxicated.
Rodman denied the accusation.
The Newport Beach Police Department was reportedly investigating.
