Cops stabbed in Westchester; suspect arrested

Preliminary Report: Police have a person in custody who is suspected of stabbing a Dobbs Ferry police officer on Thursday.

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Authorities in Westchester County have a person in custody suspected of stabbing and slashing a Dobbs Ferry police officer in an unprovoked attack. The officer was assigned to assist a Con Edison crew that was carrying out utility work on Beacon Hill Drive.

The officer was rushed to a hospital for treatment. 

That cop was later released and is now recovering at home, FOX 5 NY has learned.

SkyFOX: Cop stabbed

SkyFOX was over Dobbs Ferry in Westchester County where someone attacked a police officer who was assigned to a Con Edison crew. The attacker stabbed the cop, who was rushed to a hospital.
