Cops: Man kills mother of his 3 children

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police on Long Island say a man killed a woman who had given birth to his three children.

Suffolk County Police say it happened about 7:35 a.m. Monday in on Patchoque Ave. in Mastic.

Police say that Kenneth Smith, 32, stabbed Krystal Nash during a domestic dispute at her home.  They say that Smith then took off in Nash's car.

Nash was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue but it was too late.

Detectives found Smith in her car at a Thrasher Drive home in Bellport. He was arrested and charged with murder. 

The pair's three children, a 10-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy were in the home at the time of the attack.  Police say none of them were hurt.

Smith was scheduled to be arraigned in Central Islip on October 31.  It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
