Chimney repair workers accused of house break-ins

WANTAGH, N.Y. (AP) — Two chimney repair workers have been arrested for allegedly breaking into three Long Island homes and stealing jewelry and cash.

Nassau County police say the workers were arrested Wednesday on three counts of burglary.

Police say the burglaries occurred at a house in Farmingdale and two homes in Wantagh on Jan. 19, Jan. 28 and Feb. 10.
