Children's cold syrup recall expands
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A recall of store-branded liquid cold medicine for children has expanded.
The Perrigo company says the recall includes the children's guaifenesin grape liquid, 100mg/5 mL and children's guaifenesin DM cherry liquid, 100mg guaifenesin and 5mg dextromethorphan HBr/5mL.
They were both sold in 4 oz. bottles at stores including CVS, Rite-Aid, Dollar General, Care One, GoodSense, Kroger, Topcare and Sunmark.
