Camp counselor of 33 years arrested on sex abuse charges

A Long Island teacher who has worked at an upstate camp as a counselor for the past 33 years was arrested on sex abuse charges.

New York State Police began an investigation on June 28 into Dylan T. Stolz of Little Neck after receiving complaints from the Brant Lake Camp in Brant Lake, New York.

Stolz is a teacher with the Hewlett-Woodmere School District in Nassau County.

He was arraigned on July 5 and remanded to Warren County Jail after failing to post bond.

"Anyone who feels they have information regarding the arrest of Mr. Stolz or other crimes he may have committed to contact the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Queensbury 518-745-1035," said NYS Police.
