Burglar caught on camera inside nursery

A serial burglar was caught on a 'nanny cam' breaking into a home through a nursery in the Bronx.

Cops said the man struck twice on Mar. 8. The first break-in occurred at about 8:10 p.m. in the area of Johnson Ave. and West 236th St. The man accessed the house through an unsecured fire escape window. Inside was a sleeping two-month-old baby.

Once he realized he was being watched on a camera by the child's father, the man leaves the house through the window, said cops.

In the second break-in only five minutes later, the man entered a 28-year-old woman's house by forcing the fire escape window open. Once inside, he took jewelry, a bicycle and a backpack before running off, said police.
