BTS to perform on Saturday Night Live

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The band BTS is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live next month.  In a Twitter post by the show, BTS is scheduled to perform on April 13, with Emma Stone hosting the show.

That will be a day after their new album MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA is released.

This is the second late-night appearance from the Korean pop group.  They previously performed on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

The band previously announced a May 18 and 19 stop at MetLife Stadium East Rutherford as part of its "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" tour. 

BTS’s debut album was the first Korean-language album to top the Billboard 200 chart.
