Audi recalls over 350,000 vehicles related to rearview camera glitch

Audi has recalled 356,649 cars due to a software error that might prevent the rearview camera image from displaying properly, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The agency said in a Dec. 19 recall letter that the affected cars don’t comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for "rear visibility."

- 2022-2026 Audi RS E-Tron GT

Are repairs available for the recalled cars?
What you can do:
Owners of the impacted vehicles can take them to their local dealership to have the software updated for free. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said notification letters will be mailed on Feb. 17.
Anyone with questions about the recall can call Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 90TV. Additionally, vehicle identification numbers involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on December 23, 2025.
