ASPCA dogs looking for loving homes

NEW YORK (FOX5NY.COM) - The ASPCA Adoption Center is holding a Valentine's Day-themed adoption event for a week, February 7-14, 2016, during which time the adoption fee for dogs over 30 pounds is slashed from $75 to just $14. If you adopt a large dog you will also take home a free gift, according to the ASPCA.

The ASPCA created Valentine's memes from photos of some of the pooches available for adoption. One reads "Do you know what my fur is made of? Boyfriend material."
