ASOS billionaire loses 3 children in Sri Lanka attack

Three children of Danish billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen were killed in the Easter Sunday terror attack at a church in Sri Lanka, according to various reports.

Hoch Povlsen, 46, is a majore shareholder of the popular online retailer ASOS. He is Denmark's wealthiest man and the UK's largest private landowner, reported The Telegraph.

The Press Association of the UK confirmed the deaths.

“I can confirm that three children have been killed. We have no further comment and we ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this time,” said Jesper Stubkier, communications manager for Holch Povlsen’s wholesale clothing business.

Holch Povlsen and his family were on vacation when the attack occurred.

One of Holch Povlsen's daughters posted a photo of three of her siblings sitting near a pool just three days earlier.

As of Monday, the death toll in the attack had reached 290 with more than 500 wounded.
