DECATUR, Ga. - Members of America’s Cajun Navy loaded up their boats and are now flooding into South Carolina.
They have teamed up with FEMA in helping to prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Florence. Some of them made a stop in Decatur, Georgia Thursday on their way to the Palmetto State.
Officials said they welcome anyone who wants to join them in the relief effort.
The Cajun Navy made national news after they stepped up during major flooding events like in Baton Rouge and when they helped with rescues in Houston after Hurricane Harvey.
