Deputies have found a 16-year-old Monroe County girl whose disappearance led to the issuing of a Levi's Call, Georgia's Amber Alert.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that the Henry County Police Department possibly had a sighting of Alyssa Riley Cole and her boyfriend, Steven Tanner Meyer, on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.

After a search, officials found the two and took them into custody.

Cole is being held until authorities determine if she should be detained in a youth detention center, officials said.

Meyer is to be held in the Monroe County Jail after being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interference with custody.

Previously, investigators said Cole left a message for her parents, saying that she and Meyer were traveling to Arkansas. They were seen together in Monroe County at about 2 p.m. Friday, authorities said.

Authorities found the vehicle they were traveling in, a dark gray 2003 GMC Yukon with a Georgia tag # ALW-3567, after a search.
