97-year-old fitness enthusiast hits the gym every day

Natasha Brenner is not exactly your average gym-goer. But don't tell her that. To her, age is just a number. And at 97, she works out every day. She likes the rowing machine and leg press.

Natasha isn't just dedicated to fitness. She has been a vegan for well over two decades and has made it her life's work to fight for animal rights because she says that the animals can't speak for themselves.

And so Natasha speaks for them. The mother-of-two started going to animal rights protests with her husband, Noah Brenner, in the early 2000s. Five years ago, Noah died. Natasha carries on their legacy.

As she has aged, attending protests has become physically difficult. Instead, she goes on the computer every day to do as much work as she can online.

Natasha is not your average 97-year-old. But, then again, it is clear she has never been ordinary.

To Natasha, living a long life is meaningless if you're not fighting for something. Her secret to life? Be lucky, be smart, and be vegan.
