9-year-old robbed while waiting for bus to school
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police in New York are looking for a cold-hearted thug who robbed a nine-year-old of his $3 while he waited for the bus to take him to school.
It happened in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. The NYPD says that it happened at about 8 a.m. on a Thursday last month in the area of Spencer Street and DeKalb Avenue.
The boy was waiting when the robber rolled up on a bike and demanded his money. He took the cash out of the boy's bag and then rode off. The boy was not hurt.
The crook is described as a teenager, about 5'7" and weighing about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie jacket and dark pants, and of course, riding a bicycle.
