6 shot in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Six people are recovering from gunshot wounds following a violent Halloween weekend in Jersey City. The gunfire began Friday when a man walked into Jersey City Medical Center seeking treatment for a graze wound to his face.

A man was shot in the leg on Martin Luther King Drive early Saturday.

City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill tells The Jersey Journal two men were wounded at the Kearney Avenue intersection late Saturday.

A man was shot while sitting in a car early Sunday and another man was shot in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Claremont Avenue.
