6 people shot at Long Island party
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police on Long Island were investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that left six people, including a 15-year-old girl, injured.
Suffolk County Police say it happened about 1:30 a.m. at a Bay Shore home. Four male and two females were among the victims. Five of the victims were in the front yard home and one was inside the house at the time of the shooting.
The female victims were 15 and 33 years old. Two of the male victims were 18 years old, one was 19 years old and one was 21 years old.
Four victims were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore and two were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Police say that all calls will be kept confidential.
