SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah - A family of five was hospitalized with serious burns after a van caught fire at a Utah marina.
Saratoga Springs Police the mother and a 4-year-old girl were flown by medical helicopter to the University of Utah Hospital while the other three — including two children under the age of 10 — were taken to the same hospital by ambulance.
The family was getting ready to leave the marina on Utah Lake when the older Chevrolet box van went up in flames. The van was fully engulfed within seconds.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family. The story identified the parents as Derek and Emily Jones and claims the youngest child is in a medically induced coma.
