3 wanted in road rage stabbing

BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Police are seeking three suspects stemming from a road rage incident that left a motorist stabbed and beaten near the Jersey shore.

Brick Township police say a Toms River man was driving a Jeep when the driver of an Acura with New York license plates yelled at him while driving aggressively on Route 88 on Saturday.

Police say at the Barb Lane intersection the two motorists got into a fight before two passengers from the Acura joined in.

The driver of the Jeep was stabbed with a small knife before the occupants of the Acura got back in their car and fled.

The driver of the Jeep was treated for lacerations to his head and elbow.
