3 dead after motorcycle, bicycle accidents in NYC

NEW YORK (AP) — Two motorcycle riders and a bicyclist are dead after accidents in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Police say a 27-year-old woman was riding a bicycle over the City Island Bridge shortly before midnight Friday when she was hit by a car. The driver fled and is being sought.

Then police say a 29-year-old man crashed while he was trying to ride his motorcycle between a van and several parked cars on Parkside Avenue in Brooklyn after 1 a.m. Saturday

A 30-year-old man crashed another motorcycle into a fence on Commerce Avenue in the Bronx just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

A 27-year-old woman who was a passenger on the Bronx motorcycle was killed. The driver is in stable condition.

The names of the victims were withheld pending family notification.
