3 bodies found in Fair Lawn house fire

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Three people were found dead with gunshot wounds inside a northern New Jersey home that had been ablaze.

Sgt. Brian Metzler says a neighbor reported the Fair Lawn home was on fire late Wednesday night. The blaze at 13-24 4th Street was under control within an hour.

Authorities found the bodies of 76-year-old Richard Tempe, his 73-year-old wife Barbara and their 53-year-old son, Richard Jr., inside the home along with a firearm.

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results.
