2nd suspect in avocado-hurling assault arrested

The NYPD announced the arrest of Jestyfer Henriquez, 25, of the Bronx Friday for allegedly assaulting a deli worker with avocados and bananas.

Henriquez and Brad Gomez, 28, of the Bronx, were seen on surveillance camera video hurling avocados and bananas at the man breaking his jaw in the early morning hours of May 29, 2017,  according to police.

The two men and the worker had argued over a food order at the Stadium Gourmet Deli, prompting the attack, said police.
