2 more charged after NY student's alcohol-related death

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Two more men have been arrested on hazing charges following last year's death of a University at Albany student who drank an excessive amount of alcohol.

Joseph Angilletta and Austin Bacchus surrendered to police Friday.

The men, who are both 20, were each charged with one count of first-degree hazing. They were arraigned in city court and released.

Police arrested five other men on the same charge last week.

The arrests followed what police are calling an initiation for an unsanctioned fraternity.

Nineteen-year-old Trevor Duffy was found unconscious after the Nov. 14, 2014 initiation rite. He died at a local hospital.

According to court files, Duffy drank a 60-ounce bottle of vodka.

Information on attorneys for Angilletta and Bacchus wasn't available.
