UPDATE: Bronx serial stabber kills 14-year-old, injures man on subway stairs, police believe

Police are hunting for the person who randomly stabbed a14-year-old boy to death in the Bronx on Friday.

What we know:

Authorities say Caleb Rios was found unconscious at around 9:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Houses in Mott Haven with two stab wounds to the chest. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Video shows the teen boy standing alone on a sidewalk by himself when the attacker approaches and, unprovoked, begins stabbing him in the back before fleeing.

The NYPD has released a photo and video of a suspect wanted in connection with the killing.

What we don't know:

The name of the suspected stabber is unknown, and the events that led to the stabbing are unclear.
