14 hurt, including 2 firefighters, in fire truck collision

NEW YORK (AP) — Fire officials say 14 people, including two firefighters, sustained serious injuries when a fire truck collided with a bus and a car.

The collision happened shortly after noon Sunday in Queens.

The fire engine was responding to a call of a fire.

Those injured were taken to area hospitals. Officials say the injuries are not life-threatening.

The circumstances of the collision are being investigated.
