NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - In the 24-hours of July 4, there were 12 shooting incidents with 20 victims in all five boroughs of New York City, according to the NYPD.
Seven people were shot during a barbecue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The gunfire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Monday in Brooklyn. Four men and three women suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The victims are in their late teens to early 20s and police say they are all in stable condition.
Investigators say all the victims in the shootings across the city on Monday have injuries that aren't life-threatening.
