Woman points tongue out in mug shot

A mug shot of a woman from Spotswood, New Jersey is making the social media rounds days after her arrest. Sheriann Depinho was brought in on public intoxication, public nuisance and interfering with police charges. When Depinho posed for her mug shot on Aug. 21, she stuck out her tongue. The Spotswood Police Dept. released the photo along with a news release about the arrest.

Police say it happened on Aug. 21 at about 9:12 p.m.  Officers were dispatched to the home for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers came in contact with Sheriann and Michael Depinho and Ester Nitch of Spotswood. All three subjects were publicly consuming alcohol in the parking lot as Sheriann Depinho was playing loud music from her vehicle and creating a disturbance.

As police made contact with the subjects, Sheriann, who police say was intoxicated, began yelling at the officers, refused to comply with their orders and refused to turn down the music.

Michael Depinho, who police say was also intoxicated, also refused to follow orders as he protested and escalated the situation.

Sheriann Depinho was arrested and charged with Public Nuisance, Public Consumption of Alcohol and Interference with Police.

Michael Depinho was arrested and charged with Public Consumption of Alcohol and Interference with Police.

Ester Nitch was arrested and charged with Public Consumption of Alcohol.

All three were transported to headquarters, processed and released as per department policy with a pending municipal court date.
