VIDEO: Baby elephant rescued

FOX5NY (WNYW-TV) -  A baby elephant is safe and sound after getting stuck in an uncovered drain in Sri Lanka.

After the elephant fell, rescuers worked to rescue it. They broke open the drain to free the animal, while others fired smoke bullets to distract the mother.

The baby elephant was taken to a clinic where it was treated for injuries from the fall.
