Tornado Watch canceled
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The National Weather Service has canceled the tornado watch that was initially expected to end at 7 a.m.
New York City and the Tri-State Region were under the affected watch starting at 1 a.m. Monday.
While no tornadoes were reported, the potential for severe weather was present.
Tornadoes can cause flying debris, turn unsecured objects into projectiles, and cause power outages.
