Tax accountant sets up shop in Brooklyn bar

If doing your taxes has you saying "Man, I could really use a drink," there is now a way you can do both at the same time, at least in Brooklyn.

You pour a glass, he pores over the numbers. That is how it works if you're working with 28-year-old accountant Shane Mason.

Mason's office three days a week is in a cozy corner at a bar called Yours Sincerely in Bushwick, Brooklyn.  He has a sign on the table that reads "Resident tax man".

"With everything being digital, you don't need to be in a sterile office," Mason says.

Darren Grenia owns the bar.  He jokes, "I'm better with numbers when I'm drinking.  Hopefully that's the case with Shane."

For the record, Mason does not drink while working on the taxes but he does buy the first round for his bar clients.  He recommends the Margarita.
